ABOUT US

Saluda Outdoor Center

Hello, Friends!

When we first purchased the Saluda Outdoor Center, our goal was to create an exceptional experience that felt like a home away from home. Somewhere you could come to relax, reconnect, and renew.

To do that, we knew it was only possible if we could build a team of amazing people, create unique homes and river pods that wowed, and weave in adventures on the beautiful Saluda River.

We've been lucky to be able to do that so far... and we have even more up our sleeves!

So, come visit! You're going to it here. We can't wait to see you at the river!

FAQS

You've got questions, we've got answers!

  • Are pets allowed in the tiny homes and river pods?

Yes! We allow pets as long as dogs stay leashed when outside for the safety and comfort of other guests.

  • How do I book a stay?

Simply click the BOOK NOW button of the place you would like to stay and you'll find our listing on AirBNB or VRBO. You can find your desired dates and book easily right from their site.

  • Do the tiny homes have cooking utensils, towels, etc?

Yes! We try to make your stay as simple and comfortable as possible. Each of the tiny homes are stocked with kitchen basics, towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. We even have coffee pods for our coffee machines for you!

Also, the tiny homes have fire starters for your fire pits. You can bring your own wood or purchase wood at the office during the day for $5.00.

Please note our River Pods and Family Camping Pod do not have bathrooms or kitchens. You have access to our Bathhouse for those stays.

  • What do I need to bring for my River Pod stay?

Our River Pods are camping with comfort, so you'll find beds, the pod itself for shelter, and a fire pit. You'll need to bring camping supplies, such as lighting, blankets, towels, etc. You'll have access to our Bathhouse for toilets and showers!

Please note our Family Camping Pod DOES have electricity, but you'll want to bring your other camping supplies.

  • What is check-in/check-out time?

Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am for the tiny homes. For the camping pods and the Sycamore Family Pod, check-in is 2pm and check-out is 12pm. You will be sent a code for your door so that you can go right in once it's time for check-in.

  • Are their places to eat nearby?

Absolutely! Butler Tavern is right next door. Visit their website here to explore their delicious food and cocktails.

Otherwise, we are only 10 minutes from downtown Greenville, SC and 15 minutes to downtown Easley, where you'll find plenty of food options.

  • How do I book a river float?

During the summer season, you'll love a float down the Saluda River at our sister company Saluda Outdoor River Company! Please visit the website under TUBING in the navigation menu to book your float.

  • Do the tiny homes have washer/dryers?

No, our homes don't come with washer/dryers to allow for as much living and enjoying space as possible. However, there is a community laundry room on the property in the bathhouse.
